Our mission is to reach the unreached in our communities by sharing our “Rewrite Tomorrow” message through a virtual experience or in person presentation. In our interactive program you will learn about individuals with stories of overcoming various real life struggles. Our hope is to encourage others that they are not alone and they are “Worthy” to clean their slate and “Rewrite Tomorrow”. LI Youth Mentoring

John Cragg, Executive Director

James 1:27 tells us that: Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Long Island Youth Mentoring assists Christians in being obedient to God’s call to minister to the fatherless and the widow. We do this by matching mature Christian adults with fatherless children who meet for 2-4 hours each week. These mentoring relationships are God’s conduit of love, truth, and grace to families who are harassed by poverty, dependency, and the lies of the world.

Long Island Youth Mentoring provides the screening, training, and supervision that enable these friendships to be safe and effective. To find out more about being a mentor, please visit www.liym.org and fill out the form. Then, we will contact you and answer your questions.
